Planty Park in Krakow
Planty is the most famous city park in Kraków, established in 19th century covering 21 hectares encircling the Kraków Old Town.
Planty Park has been created on the site where the former city walls were located, around the strict city centre of Kraków, which fell into disrepair and was neglected, so the idea came by Feliks Radwański and Florian Straszewski to convert this area into a city park.
Nowadays, the Planty Park has gained extraordinary cultural and social significance due to it's central location and beauty.
